TomTom will be discontinuing the EZ-Locate products and replacing them with the new TomTom Global Geocoding Services. Customers who use the EZ-Locate Interactive page or download the EZ-Locate Java Client will migrate to the TomTom Global Geocoder - https://geocoder.tomtom.com; a web application for single interactive geocoding or file-based batch geocoding. Customers who use the EZ-Locate API (SDK) will migrate to the Geocoding API which is accessible through the TomTom Developer's Portal - http://developer.tomtom.com; for customers who would like to integrate our Geocoding service within their applications. Both are available for evaluation and licensing today.

Our EZ-Locate discontinuation plan is as follows:

July 1, 2013:

Existing customers will be able to access http://www.geocode.com to review their account information and use the EZ-Locate Interactive page.

We will not accept any new geocode credit purchases via http://www.geocode.com.

Customers will be redirected to the new products to purchase geocodes.

November 29, 2013:

Customers who purchase geocode credits prior to July 1, 2013 will have until November 29, 2013 to use those credits.

December 2, 2013:

The EZ-Locate product will be discontinued and will no longer be available.

TomTom is introducing two new global geocoding products, and we would like to invite our EZ-Locate customers to start testing the improved technology!

Do you use EZ-Locate Interactive or use our client software for batch processing? Then please check out our new TomTom Global Geocoder! Go to https://geocoder.tomtom.com and sign up for a free evaluation.

Do you use our EZ-Locate API? Then go to http://developer.tomtom.com and register for access to our new Developer's Portal. Once registered, you can sign up for a Geocoding API key. You can call our geocoding services directly for a free evaluation period.

EZ-Locate Services / Servers

The USA_Geo_003 (no postal standardization) and USA_Geo_004 (postal standardization) services are now offering production/live Census 2010 results.

EZ-Locate Interactive has also been upgraded to Census 2010 results.

USA_Geo_001 (no postal standardization) and USA_Geo_002 (postal standardization) will continue to offer Census 2000 results, but the plan is to discontinue Census 2000 results in June 2012. Census 2000 and Census 2010 results are not available in the same output. If you require both Census results, you will need to run your file twice (once for each Census version).

For those who have integrated EZ-Locate into their own application (via SDK), new sample source code is available in the Download Area.
